2024 AGM Proposals

Proposal 1 (Rich Cordy – Breaking Bad, Sam Mitchell – Breaking Bad) – Decreasing the amount of players needed game night to 5 and increase the frames to 15 giving players a maximum of 3 games each. This would decrease the amount of teams that fold or turn up with not enough players eliminating frames being conceded by this

Proposal 2 (Rich Cordy – Breaking Bad, Sam Mitchell – Breaking Bad) – 3-man comps

Proposal 3 (Rich Cordy – Breaking Bad, Sam Mitchell – Breaking Bad) – First frame to be lagged with alternating breaks after

Proposal 4 (Ben Lancaster – MOP, Alex Cameron – MOP) – Scotch doubles (doubles comp)

Proposal 5 (Cei Philips – Frames Fugitives, John Quick – Frames Fugitives) – Golden Break – if you pot the black off the break, then you win. Golden Break

Proposal 6 (Darren Shears – Rack n Roll, No Seconder) – That all teams in all divisions use pro match balls not just the top team in division 1-3

Proposal 7 (Pete Williams – Darkside, Martin Coldicutt – Darkside) – Presentation night to be a Saturday night

Proposal 8 (Committee) – Clarification of criteria to qualify for challenge cup. Top 7 ranked players based on percentages (not the website ranking which is based on frames won). Players must have played at least 50% of the available frames that season. Example – In a 7 team division there are 12 matches so a player could play a maximum of 24 frames. To qualify for the challenge cup they therefore must have played at least 12

Proposal 9 (Committee) – Replace runners up trophies with runners up medals
